The Porsche Macan combines traditional Porsche DNA into a new segment for the company, compact SUV. The Macan has a dynamic look ensuring it is unmistakably a sports car. Elements such as a the characteristic taillight strip at the rear, broad shoulders over the rear wheels, twin exhausts, sporty styling and coupe like sloping roof all bear the Porsche DNA. 

Inside the Macan features sports front seats which ensure a good view of the road whilst remaining closely connected to it and a cockpit like feel is created from the three-dimensional arrangement of the controls. The sports steering wheel harks to the 918 and the typical Porsche three-tube instrument cluster remains with a centrally positioned rev counter. In the centre of the car is a 10.9" touchscreen controlling all of the car's vital functions, media and navigation as well offering smartphone integration. 

The Macan range has been recently updated with the introduction of the Macan T which combines the 2.0l performance engine found with upgraded styling and sports components for a pure driving experience.

The Macan Electric offers 5.2s acceleration from 0-62mph when using Launch Control and has a top speed of 137mph.

At the heart of the Porsche Macan is a powerful and characterful engine. The Macan is available with 2.0 litre and 2.9 litre engines and both deliver the power you would expect of a Porsche SUV. 

The engine range starts with the turbocharged inline four-cylinder 2.0 litre engine. This compact yet powerful engine produces 265 PS and 400 Nm which allows the Macan to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 6.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 144mph. The 0-62mph sprint time is reduced by 0.2 seconds when the Sport Chrono Package is optioned. Not only is this engine compact and powerful it is also efficient as it is capable of up to 28mpg. This 2.0 litre engine can be specified with the Macan and Macan T models. 

To ensure ultimate thrills the most exciting engine available with the Macan is the twin-turbo 2.9 litre V6 engine found in the Macan S and Macan GTS. This characterful engine produces 380 PS and 520 Nm as standard with the highly tuned GTS model producing 440 PS and 550 Nm. The GTS with its powerful V6 engine and all-wheel drive system can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 4.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 169mph accompanied by the sonorous sound track produced by the sports exhaust.
