Lexus Hybrid Servicing

Group 1 offer a Lexus Hybrid Health check because we are dedicated to ensuring your Hybrid continually runs efficiently, and at its peak performance.

How does a Hybrid Health Check work?

We recommend you book your Lexus Hybrid in for an annual health check, which consists of:

  1. Battery Check: To analyse the condition and performance of the battery
  2. Drive System Check: To analyse the fuel consumption and efficiency of the drive system
  3. Cooling System Check: To analyse the operation of the cooling system

After the assessment, you’ll receive a full itemised report on your vehicle’s health with no obligation to commit to any further work.

How much will it cost?

The Lexus Hybrid Health Check is available for only £59, or free with a vehicle service, at your local Group 1 Lexus.

Our authorised Lexus technicians are graduates of the Lexus Certified Training programme and are respected experts in their field. By entrusting your hybrid with our team, you can be confident that your hybrid will get the attention it deserves.

Hybrid Battery Extended Care

When you book your Hybrid Health Check at one of our Group 1 Lexus centres, you’ll get a one year or 10,000 miles (whichever comes first) of Hybrid Battery Extended Care.

You can extend this annually for up to 10 years from the date of vehicle registration, so you can enjoy complete peace of mind knowing that in the unlikely event of a problem, your Lexus will always receive the care it needs from our experts.

Lexus Hybrid FAQs

Vehicles powered by Lexus Hybrid Drive are very reliable. Independent tests show Lexus Hybrid Drive models to be as reliable as our petrol and diesel powered vehicles. Reliability is helped by the durability of Lexus Hybrid Drive components. For instance, the car's electric motor(s) and generators are completely maintenance free, and the V6 or V8 petrol engine usually runs in optimum conditions, meaning a long engine life.

The battery management system ensures that the hybrid battery remains charged under normal circumstances. The system constantly monitors battery charge levels and ensures there is no excessive draining or recharging of the battery. It computes the cumulative amount of discharge under electric motor usage and intelligently replenishes the battery charge, either through regenerative braking or by converting surplus engine power into electricity. In this way, Lexus Hybrid Drive aims to keep the battery charge at a relatively constant level and ensures that the battery last as long as the car. The advanced compact battery is covered by the warranty of every hybrid vehicle we deliver. In normal use, we expect the battery to last much longer than the length of this warranty. The avoidance of excessive battery draining/recharging significantly contributes to the long life of the battery.

No. Lexus vehicles never need to be plugged in to mains power. This is because Lexus Hybrid Drive technology automatically recharges the car's advanced compact battery, either through regenerative braking or by generating electricity while you're cruising at higher speeds.
