The Range Rover Sport is also available as a plug in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). There are two models to choose from, the P440e and the P510e. 

The P440e combines a 3.0l petrol engine and a 105kW electric motor to provide acceleration of 0-60mph in 5.5 seconds, whilst also being able to return 337.6mpg and 70 miles electric range.

The more powerful P510e provides the same electric range whilst being able to accelerate from 0-60mph in 5.2 seconds.

Using a rapid charger the battery can be recharged from 0-80% in less than 60 minutes.

The PHEV drivetrain combines the power and usability of a combustion engine with the economy of an electric motor.
