Dynamic driving with added help. Ford mild hybrid cars have a petrol or diesel engine backed up with a smaller, efficient electric motor. It adds extra efficiency to the already exciting driving experiences of Ford cars. There are plenty of Ford MHEVs available now, giving you an easy entry point to electric cars.
Discover the full Ford MHEV range of cars below with updated pricing. Get in touch with Group 1 Ford to learn more or book a test drive.
Ford MHEV technologies
There are two options when it comes to the electric motors in Ford Mild Hybrid cars: EcoBoost Hybrid (petrol) and EcoBlue Hybrid (diesel).
These engines are backed up with a smaller electric motor, seamlessly operating the stop-start function. This makes everyday driving more efficient, especially on shorter journeys.
Power is regained when braking and coasting, so you don’t have to worry about plugging in. Ford MHEV cars are suited to drivers who typically go on frequent, shorter trips at lower speeds.
