Brilliant job. I'm delighted with the service I got from start to finish. Came in to look at a T-Roc and quickly decided that was the right car for us. We found a used T-Roc to the spec and colour we wanted online and made an offer. James Shutt called us back within minutes and arranged for us to see the car that afternoon. James was great, explained everything about the car which was a recent demo. We went for a test drive and decided to go ahead and buy the car. We were very happy with the trade in value for our old car. James ran through all the paperwork and then to our surprise told us he had a brand new car to exactly the same spec for a very small additional premium. It was an offer we couldn't refuse. The new car was there within a couple of days, all sorted and ready to drive away thanks to James who even set up my phone on the day. Delighted with the car and brilliant service we received from James and all the staff at Shrewsbury.

Picked up my brand new Golf yesterday and cannot fault the service from James! From start to finish James was really helpful with making sure I had everything I needed on my car, such as modifications and after sale packages explaining them well. When picking up the car I was given a tour around the vehicle and was shown how to work the systems! Can’t fault the experience

This was a brilliant servicing experience. Our Arteon was due its second service in March 2025 and first MOT at 6,150 miles. Had to book it in with someone over the phone as no one on service desk available on that day I walked in to discuss the various things we required. These were brake fluid change, air-con re gas and batteries for key fobs. However, all details recorded accurately and loan car arranged and ready for us including being given an automatic as required ( make sure you ask in advance to give them the chance to organise) . We needed this having travelled nearly 100 miles to them. Upon our arrival and dropping off car, met by friendly and professional team on service desk. Swiftly booked in, loan car arranged and ran through all that was required. What a huge difference this brilliant personal service approach makes. Last year, serviced by same dealer group , but in Chester, where we only saw a receptionist and told to put our keys in box and check in via the computer screen for the first service. Being a service plan, we assumed brake fluid change included, it was and is not… however, had someone in Chester been present we’d have double checked and asked and subsequently requested this rather than finding out at end of day… Shrewsbury Group 1, totally different, people present to ask and discuss and get that genuine cared for personal experience… that is the way to do it. Car returned later, as spotless inside and out as we Had handed it to them earlier. In addition , a very knowledgeable and experienced Member of the service team was able to get a quote for parts and fitment of a cambelt and tensioner for our modern classic 1997 Golf.. competitive quote. Aberystwyth and Chester VW, take note, two requests each and nobody able to quote parts prices or labour rates. Shrewsbury again showing how it’s done. Well done, looking forward to bringing it back next year along with the old Golf. Thank you.

We couldn’t have wished for a better experience! After having many awful car dealership experiences, as a young couple we were apprehensive to walk into another and spend our money, however we were so suprised. We initially met with Thomas, who showed us around, answered all of our questions and helped us test drive a car we were interested in, he also followed up with us a few days later. We then popped back into store and met with Nyall, Jules and Lee, who all helped us order our new car and answered all questions we had, they were so polite, helpful and made us laugh. Nyall kept us informed most days in the week we were waiting for our car, with emails to help me through the finance documents, videos of the car as it came into store and was so patient with us when we arrived late to pick up our car, and stayed towards closing time to make sure we were all set up to drive away! We are over the moon with our new car and couldn’t have asked for better Service. Nothing was too much trouble and we look forward to going back for our services and MOT! Thank you Nyall and team!

The best car buying experience I've ever had from start to finish. Nyall found me a Tiguan to the exact specification I was after, sent me a detailed video of it and then sorted me a test drive. He clearly explained my financing options, was readily available whenever I had questions and had everything sorted to get me driving home in the new car less than a week after I first test-drove it.
