Recently had 1st service since warranty had lapsed. Diagnosed a tricky fault to fix. Reading BMW could not have been more helpful. Chloe in the service team was exceptional dealing with the issues and facilitating a resolution. Very impressive experience all round. 10/10.

First class- is what comes to mind when I think about my recent experience at BMW. Awais and Kevin went over and beyond to get my car, an older model, back on the road! Having failed its MOT, they pulled out all the stops from sorting out major issues like headlight, to side lights and bulbs. As well as a courtesy lift in the rain. They even found a way to resolve what could have been an expensive repair, saving me hundreds of pounds! Each step of the way, communication was clear and open and for the first time, I felt like a garage was truly looking after me. I should add BMW also offers a discount on parts for older models, so if you still love your 'classic', like I do, and want it to get some well- deserved care, look no further. Awais and Kevin, thank you again!

Some troubles since Group 1 took over. I'm still waiting to hear on when a part will arrive for my car, well over a week now. 14/11/24 : An update to this continuing saga. My part arrived a couple of weeks ago as I got a call asking about getting the car booked in for the work. "Let me check on availability and I'll call you back" I was told. Two weeks later and still no call. How long does it take to identify a slot in the calendar. Sure, I could have rung them before now but I was wondering how long it would take them to call me. This is NOT the quality service I expect from a BMW dealership at all.

Outstanding Customer Service at BMW Reading I recently took my older BMW in for a recall, and the entire experience was exceptional. BMW Reading provided me with a sleek, high-performance electric car as a courtesy vehicle, which was a fantastic touch. I received five-star service, especially from Millie, who went above and beyond to make the process seamless and enjoyable. As a longtime BMW customer, I hadn’t seriously considered switching to electric, but after this experience, I’m convinced that an electric BMW is the right choice for me. BMW Reading has earned my loyalty—I’ll definitely be returning to them for my next purchase.

Everything was great. The loan car arranged and, I asked the representative to also adjust my headlights, as I have retrofitted the Adaptive Xenons for this car. However, I have noticed that they have been adjusted a tad too low, which makes driving at night a little difficult, borderline dangerous. I asked how they were adjusted, as looking through the forums and tech data, it states that a MAHA device is needed to adjust these accurately. However, no one confirmed how the headlights were adjusted. All I was told is that only a little adjustment was required. I may call again to get these adjusted again, so I can see more than 30 metres ahead of me. Additional Review 8 Nov 2024 Car had a recall regarding Airbags. Was booked in back in April, took the car but they had no airbags. So was extremely unhappy, as it is a safety feauture and i was trying to arrange this since last year August. Anyway got a call mid October, airbags were here, took the car in on the 6th, got a loaner car.. fully electric (not a fan of electric cars) Airbags, fitted car washed in and out. Jess handled my case, and she was great. The staff in there are extremely friendly and helpful. The Service Manager Kevin, top lad. And the parts service guy especially Shri, he literally goes out of his way to find the parts i require. So far this BMW outlet has been incredible. I do feel they are understaffed though, especially in the parts department. Group 1 you need to spend money to make money, get more staff.

I have been bringing my car for service at BMW for sometime now and I wish to commend Iva Rogers for her excellent customer care service; she is always polite and professional in her approach. However on a different note; in the afternoon I tried calling BMW to follow up on progress of my car and did not get through as message kept on saying ‘there is no answer, call back later’. It was getting late and I had to use taxi to get to BMW garage to find out what the problem was. I spoke to the service manager Kevin. I found Kevin to be empathetic and professional in his approach. He listened to me and apologised for the inconvenience. I wish to Commend Kevin for his exceptional customer care service.
