As the smallest car in the Toyota range, the Aygo is known to be personable and fun to drive, as well as being customisable and great to look at.
The city car has style at its heart and for 2017, Toyota is releasing two new trim levels to make your Aygo stand out even more while you are out and about. With the x-press and x-style trim levels both taking advantage of the customising options as the 15-inch, gloss black, 10-spoke alloys are fitted to both new types of Aygo.
Also fitted to both are dusk-sensing headlights, automatic air conditioning, black cabin trim details and body-coloured door handles, mirrors and instrument panel. The x-press trim features more stand-out parts, such as the accented roof, front and rear diffusers and side sills, as well as tinted rear windows and the x-touch multimedia system.
In x-style, the Aygo comes with a more refined finish as the body colour is used throughout to ensure continuity and takes many of the features from the x-press. However, inside the x-style includes a reversing camera, leather trim steering wheel, hill-start assist control and LED daytime running lights for a more premium feel.
Both of the new models can also be fitted with the Toyota Safety Sense technology pack, which includes pre-collision system, autonomous emergency braking and lane departure alert, and this can be added for £375. As is standard with Aygo models, both come with the 69bhp VVT-i petrol engine with a five-speed manual or x-shift automatic transmission, and this engine returns both good efficiency and low emissions.
The x-press and x-style models are both priced from £11,935 with manual transmission and £12,635 with automatic transmission and they come with a five-year/100,000-mile new vehicle warranty.
